Allison's POV
“Yo, Allison!” The bar guy greets me with a wave, his friendly voice echoing through the bustling bar. “You’ve been coming around a lot lately. I hope it's not some sort of work drama driving you here, eh?”
He flashes me a teasing grin, one of the many reasons I like hanging out at this bar.
“I'm fine, Graham. Nothing to worry about.” I lie through my teeth as I sit on the bar stool, flashing him a fake thinned smile.
But what Graham doesn't know is that my life has turned into a shitshow. My best friend is angry at me and wouldn't pick up my phone calls or reply to my messages, while Peterson, the jerk who I had believed was my soulmate, is going behind my back with some woman. And on my own bed too!
If Graham knows all this, he would understand why I would be practically camping out in his bar these days.
“I'll have the usual.” I say to him and Graham nods at me.
“You've got it!” Graham pours my shots, handing them to me like he knows what my night needs. And he does, apparently. I tip each shot down my throat, one after the other, barely pausing for breath until I am feeling the warm buzz of alcohol seeping into my system.
The world around me grows hazy and dream-like, my vision blurring as the lights of the bar dances before me. My eyelids, heavy with intoxication, threaten to close, but I fight to stay conscious, welcoming the dulling of my senses.
“Another shot!” I bellow at him, raising my voice over the pounding music blasting behind me.
“Woah, woah, woah. Slow down, kid.” Graham has a look of concern on his face now. “Are you sure you don't wanna take a little break?”
“I said I want another shot!” I ignore his warnings and hit my fist against the countertop like a demanding child.
With a resigned sigh, Graham sets my shots in front of me again and I continue to consume each of them in one gulp.
My head is already spinning but there is a raw, reckless urge inside me that refuses to be quelled. I want to lose myself in the fog of liquor, to numb the pain and drown out the ugly thoughts that haunts me.
“That asshole.” I words tumble from my lips in a drunken slur, my voice choked in anger and pain. I find myself in tears now, unable to control the effect that the alcohol has on me. “He has the guts to cheat on me even after everything that I've done for him.”
“Do you hear me, Graham?” I raise my gaze to look at Graham who is busy attending to other customers. But I continue to yell anyway. “He’s an asshole.”
I begin to sob now. “I did everything for him. I trusted him with everything. I believed in his stupid investment and gave him all of my hard earned money. And this is how he repays me? By screwing some other woman behind my back? On my freaking bed? Screw him! Screw him!"
Before I can fully wallow in my sorrow, the harsh words of a man break through the haze of my self-pity.
"Enough with the sob story, lady. Nobody cares!" he slurs, his words dripping with drunken disdain.
I turn to face the man, trying to focus my blurred vision on him through the dim lighting. Even beneath his hooded sweatshirt, it is obvious that he is just as wasted as I am.
"Look around you!" he exclaims, his finger swiveling in a wild gesture as he tries to illustrate his point. "Do you see anybody caring about your sob story? Nobody gives a flying fuck ass about some drunken lady or her two-timing scumbag of a boyfriend!"
His words, though crude and cruel, carry a painful ring of truth. Around us, the bar is a blur of laughter, music, and the buzz of tipsy conversation. No one seems to give a damn about my heartbreak, not even the man I'd been pouring my heart out to.
“What about you? Do you care?” I ask him. There is a little glimmer of hope in my heavy heart that he would.
The stranger shrugs with an air of nonchalance. “Not sure. But at least, I listen. Anyway, I'm about to head out. Wanna come with me?”
I nod instantly. Even though I know that it is reckless to follow a stranger from the bar, I am eager to escape my pain.
……………..
The stranger's home is a big mansion, nestled in its own private grounds that makes it look like some castle and even with my blurry vision, I can see how beautiful and magnificent it looks.
Stranger is a wealthy guy, I see.
Stumbling into his bedroom, we both tumble onto the bed, our legs sprawling out as we collapse, backs pressed against the mattress, gazes fixed on the vaulted ceiling above. We remain this way in silence for a moment, each of us trying to fight away the strong power the alcohol we have consumed has on us.
"Hey," I murmur, finally managing to turn my head towards him, our gazes locking for the first time since entering the room.
The stranger's features are still a blur, the dim lighting and the haze of alcohol playing tricks on my vision, but I can sense his eyes piercing through me, trying to decipher the whirlwind of emotions swirling within me.
“Would you like to have sex with me?" I blurt out, the words escaping my lips before I can even contemplate the impact they would have.
"Sex?" The stranger seems taken aback, his eyes widening slightly in surprise. "You want me to have sex with you?"
“Yes," I affirm, my voice gaining a newfound confidence. "I want to get back at my boyfriend.”
The stranger goes silent for a minute and just when I feel like he is going to turn me down and I am beginning to lose hope, he breaks the silence again.
“Are you sure you want to do this?”
“Yes.” I nod, slowly drawing closer to close the distance between us. I let out a small gasp as he grabs my waist and brought me close to his body. With my hands now on his chest, I can feel the fast rapid heartbeat of his chest and his warm breath that fans down my neck.
"Are you sure this is what you want?" he asks, his tone laden with a hint of caution.
Without a moment's hesitation, I nod, our eyes never breaking contact. Slowly, I inch towards him, the space between us closing with each passing second until our bodies are pressed flush against each other.
A gasp escapes my lips as his hands move to my waist, the heat of his skin sending shivers down my spine. His breath, hot against my neck, sends a rush of excitement through my body. And then, our lips met, the kiss consuming us as our hands roam each other's bodies.
He towers over me and slowly undresses me until I am only on my undies. And then, he pushes my pants aside and slowly delves his finger inside me, the moist tightness of my cunt welcoming him. A soft moan escapes my lips at the foreign sensation.
“You are super tight.” He says in a hoarse whisper. “Have you done this before?”
I shake my head and I sense his hesitation. He tries to pull out his finger but I hold back his hand and stop him instantly.
“Don't.” I plead with him.
“I don't think we should…”
“I want to do this.” I stick to my words. “Please.”
He sighs and hesitates for a few seconds before slowly, slipping back his finger inside of me.
Soon, he is thrusting inside of me in a fevered rhythm, and I am crying from the pleasure and the pain, my back arching as the pleasure consumes me. My nails dig into the flesh of his back, driving him deeper and deeper into me with every stroke.
As the heat builds within me, the pressure builds to a near unbearable crescendo. And as he hit that spot, the one that sends me over the edge, my body shudders. As my orgasm pulses through me, a groan rips from his throat, his body convulsing in a powerful climax.
I have never tasted a heaven this sweet before.
But the next morning, I wake up to the greatest shock of my life. With my vision now clear from the effect of the alcohol, the identity of the stranger from the party clears before my eyes.
It is freaking Xander Black.
“Don't say a word of this to anyone.” He says to me after I am dressed and about to leave his place. “Do you understand?”
“Yes.” I gulp and nod nervously, eager to escape his presence and catch my breath. All of this feels too surreal, like a dream. A lame omega girl like me having a one night stand with the Alpha himself? Too unbelievable.
How was his disguise so good that I didn't even notice that it was him? By the look of this, he doesn't seem to recognize my face, but I am not surprised. He barely even takes notice of me at the company.
“Take this.” He picks a well wrapped paper parcel from his bedside table and hands it over to me while I receive it with my head lowered to the ground.
I open it cautiously and my breath catches when I am greeted by the sight of the bulk of cash inside.
“Will that be enough to buy your silence?”
I cannot help but lift my eyes and stare at his face now. From up close, I can see his intense, heart gripping hazel eyes clearly. I find myself admiring his facial features, the sharpness of his jaw, his piercing eyes and the way his sharp nose is resting perfectly on his face.
Again, it feels like an impossible dream that I have just had a one night stand with this god of a man.
“Do you think it's too small?” He asks me again, breaking me from my trance. My attention returns back to the paper parcel and I shake my head in response.
“I don't need your money, sir.” Then, I bow my head before him in respect “Rest assured that no one will hear a word of this. Have a great day.”
And then, I turn my back against him and leave.
Allison's POVI must have passed out. When I wake up, I find myself locked in this strange room. The chair I'm sitting on is the only furniture here, and my hands are chained behind my back. I can vaguely remember what happened when I was being captured. There had been multiple men, and they overpowered me too quickly."Okay, Allison," I whisper to myself, "don't panic.""Oh, you should definitely panic," a voice speaks cruelly from behind me.At the sound of that familiar voice, I freeze. What is he doing here? I think, and I am certainly starting to panic. After I had tried and failed to find him, I had let myself hope that he was out of my life for good. But here is Peterson, standing in front of me with an evil grin on his face."You didn't really think you had gotten rid of me, did you?" he says, looking pleased with himself."What are you doing here?" I snap.I refuse to let this son of a bitch scare me."That's no way to greet your boyfriend, Allison," he replies."Boyfriend?"
Allison's POVIt feels like someone has poured freezing water over all the heat in my body. The words "Xander's fiancee" keep ringing in my head. I turn to him, hoping that he'll deny it, but he just looks stunned."Xander, is it true?" I ask.The question pulls him out of whatever thoughts he had been drowning in."No, it isn't," he replies. "Catherine is my ex-girlfriend, Allison."His eyes beg me to believe him, and I want to. I don't want anything to get between us so soon after we overcame the previous hurdle. But there are too many thoughts churning in my head. I can't think clearly, and my chest is still hurting from the sudden blow those words dealt me, and this Catherine woman isn't helping matters."What do you mean, 'ex-girlfriend'?" she asks, running her hand down his chest. "All I did was move out of the city, Xander. I was always going to come back."He knocks her hand aside with enough force to break bone, and Catherine flinches backwards, clutching her aching arm to he
Allison's POVI've never seen Xander so angry. There's rage in his eyes, but his hands are gentle as he comforts me. Afterwards, he wants me to return to his mansion while he goes to confront Tamara, but I can't let him go alone. So I insist on coming along, and I'm surprised when he listens. I would have thought he would make me stay back.Tamara is at his mother's mansion, holding court with some important members of the pack. Clearly, she's no longer hiding the fact that she wants to take his place as Alpha. When she looks up and sees me beside Xander, her expression darkens."What are you doing here?" she snarls."She's here to bear witness…" Xander replies, storming towards his sister, "to your humiliation, Tamara."Tamara rises to her feet and turns to her supporters."You see what I was saying?" she says. "Your Alpha is now at the beck and call of this Omega."If she expects her supporters to act outraged, she's sorely disappointed. They're all busy looking down with shame as X
Allison's POVThe choice is yours, she says.Even though we both know I'm the one here who doesn't have a choice. Leave Xander, or watch my people die?Where's the choice in that? Tamara has me cornered, and she knows it. She's smirking again, and I want nothing more than to claw that look off her face."Oh, and get rid of the bastard in your womb. I'm planning to kill the eyesore if it ever gets born, anyway. You can think of it as mercy," she adds smugly.I freeze. How could she say such a thing. My whole body immediately rebels against the very idea. How does she expect me to take the life that I have lovingly grown inside me, this person I haven't seen yet but already love with every fiber of my being."Do you really have to be so cruel?!" I demand, tears pooling in my eyes. "What has an unborn child done to you?""That 'unborn child' is going to grow into another arrogant Omega, not knowing its place and trying to stake a claim to the throne of Alpha," she replies coldly. "I will
Allison's POVI freeze at the spot.My legs have turned to jelly, and I can only watch as Tamara rises to her full height."If it isn't the famous Allison Carter," she says, smirking at me, "I've been waiting forever for you to come back."Instantly, I understand the reason behind the sudden hatred at the company. It was her, whispering into the people's ears. I should have known. It has always been her. I'm in terrible danger right now.I should run. I should run to the door and get the hell out of this place. But I can't move. And with each step Tamara takes towards me, I feel my heart rate increase. At least call Xander! my mind begs. You'll die if you do nothing. This woman will kill you!But my hands lie limp at my sides, not responding no matter how hard I try to move them."What are you doing here?" I ask in a shaky voice."How rude," Tamara replies, stopping some steps away from me. "You should be treating me with a little more respect. We're practically sisters-in-law at this
