Olivia's POV
I must have blacked out at some point or the other during my rather strange escape. When I woke up, I was in a room with only a single bed and nothing more. The floors were rough and had no tile or marble and the walls took the same shape too.
My heart began to pound in my chest.
It did not look like I had been rescued, it looked like I had been kidnapped.
I tried to stay calm but the more I tried to calm my nerves the more anxious I became.
A million and one things ran through my mind. If Simeon thought that I had escaped, he would surely harm Jeremy. I had to get out of this place before that happened.
I looked around the room for any available means of escape but the room had been designed in such a way that it was impossible to do so.
The only window in the room was several fits high and was a very small one so that no one could squeeze through. Even my son would not be able to squeeze himself out of this place.
