Luke walked the grave where he and the other co-conspirators secretly gathered every Sunday night.Tonight was the night where he executed his plans and took over the pack from Felix, his Alpha .He was the second in command and it had been much easier for him to orchestrate everything without him being caught.Once they were able to succeed in the coup, everything would be exposed.He went past the tomb stones and then he pushed away the coffin and opened it.Deep underneath, it led way to steps that took you into the room where they made their plans and carried out their secret meetings.No one knew where the room was, not even Felix.He went down the steps and to his greatest shock and horror, he saw that his pack members were lying dead on the floor.He paced the room and checked their bodies, in hope that they were still alive.At least one person.Then he touched Max, and max was still breathing.He bent down and tried to resuscitate him.“Max talk to me! Don’t go. What happened here?” He asked so many questions at once.But Max was barely breathing.“Leave Luke. Run away from this pack and never come back. They know about us. We were betrayed.” Max said .“No I have to take you to safety.” Luke said as he put his friends arm over him.Max moaned in pain from the cuts in his tummy.“Don’t.” Max said. “Take your family far away from here while you can. He knows you’re among us and he is coming for you.”Luke breathed heavily and then he saw Max very slowly close his eyes.“No max.” Luke begged.But it was too late he was already dead.Luke gently lay him down on the floor and turned and rushed out of the secret meeting room.He perceived a scent and then he quickly turned around.A wolf launched on him and took him down but he over powered him with his bare hands and soon about seven wolves attacked him.He was injured but he was able to escape from them and he quickly got into his car and sped down home.His head racing.He should have left. He should have never come back to the town now his daughter and wife were in trouble.Once he got home, he rushed in and slammed the door shut as he came in bleeding by the side of his stomach..“Emma! Emma!” He yelled to his wife.She came down the steps.“What’s going on?” She asked. “Oh my God honey you’re bleeding!”“Get Ashley, the Alpha knows that we betrayed them and he killed the others. He is on his way right now with the rest of the pack. We need to get out of here.” He said as he closed the windows.“But you’re bleeding at least let me use my healing powers to take care of you.” She begged.He pushed aside and shook his head. “There is no time for that. Any second we waste here is us walking into our deaths now go!”She rushed back up the stairs and came down with their sleeping four year old daughter.By the time they had reached their car in front of the lawn, they saw they were surrounded.There was no escape.“Luke look!” Emma said holding Ashley who was still sound asleep.The pack leader Alpha Felix turned from his wolf form to his human form.“Let my family go.” Luke said. “I’m the one who betrayed the pack, they are innocent. They have nothing to do with any of this.”Alpha Felix said. “The punishment for Treason is execution you know that. I trusted you. I brought you into my pack and made you my second in command and yet you betrayed me.”Felix turned into a wolf and Luke did at the same time and they turned into a combat.Slashing and growling at each other.Other wolves couldn’t join because it was a law for an Alpha and his second in command to only ever fight alone.“Luke.” Emma cried holding Ashley in the car.Luke had the upper hand over Felix. He injured him, indicating that he was more powerful than the Alpha.But he said to him. “There is one amongs you who is evil. Let my wife and my daughter live. ”And then at that moment, Luke Let Felix attack him, surrendering even though he could have won and Luke killed him at the spot.Emma screamed as her husband fell down to the floor dead.She rushed out of the car to his dead body on the floor.She looked up at Felix.Then she said. “Take care of her.”And she closed her eyes and using her Luna abilities transferred her powers out of her body and she fell dead.“This is a warning to any members of the pack who dares to cross my path and even think of betraying me.” Alpha Felix said.Ashley came out of the car, sleepily. “Mummy? daddy?”She went down to their dead bodies lying down on the floor and soon Felix could see the tears running down her eyes.She knelt near their body and wept. “Mummy? Wake up. Daddy, wake up.”But they didn’t move.Alpha Felix rose up to his feet and walked to Ashley who and saw the little girl and said to her. “Your mummy and Daddy are gone. They had to pay for their actions. The question is would you like to join them?”Ashley shivered in the cold.Alpha Felix drew out his claws, ready to slash her and said.He saw her close her eyes, as she clutched her teddy bear to her chest.“I’m in a good mood Ashley.” He said. “I’ll let you live as an example. From now on, you owe the pack your life.”
