Consciousness returned slowly.

Sarah lay crumpled against the wall, blood trickling from her mouth.

That innocent face now showed real fear as my wolf form towered over her.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"What's wrong, Sarah?" I crouched down beside her. "Isn't this what you wanted? Evidence of my 'bullying'?"

My voice grew sharper with each word.

"Go on then!" I grabbed her chin. "Run to everyone with those claw marks. Tell them how the Alpha's daughter attacked you!"

My voice rose with each word.

Memories of silver water melting my flesh made my claws twitch.

I slashed across her face once more before turning away.

The shock in her eyes was delicious – no one should be able to shift at sixteen.

But here I was, my black wolf standing proud at two years too early.

I left her there, trembling and bleeding.

Emma waited for me by the training grounds:

"You missed half of combat practice. What were you doing up there?"

I shifted back smoothly, straightening my clothes.

"Oh, just teaching the new girl about pack hierarchy."

She spun around, eyes wide. "What?!"

I shrugged. "When everyone already thinks you're a monster, you might as well become one."

"That's... not how that saying goes..."

"Does it matter?"

We walked toward the practice rings when Daniel appeared.

Everyone knew us as the destined pair – the Alpha's daughter and her childhood mate.

Such a pretty lie.

His eyes lingered behind me, searching. "Vivian, you're late. I heard you beat a new transfer student?"

I even remember what he said next in my previous life - she didn't do anything wrong, just apologize to her.

In my past life, every time Sarah accused me of something.

He always urged me to apologize, to let it go.

Pretending to support me while actually confirming her lies.

Rage surged through me at the memory.

Without warning, I shifted and slashed my claws across his face.

"Vivian!" Emma gasped.

But Daniel didn't flinch. His eyes flashed red, but he controlled himself.

Instead, he reached out to stroke my fur gently:

"What's wrong, love? Are you experiencing an early shift? Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Is the early shifting causing you pain?"

In my past life, I discovered the truth far too late.

Daniel's father, the Alpha of our neighboring pack, had been a cruel man.

He'd beaten his son daily until bones cracked, leaving wounds that went soul-deep.

Only one person showed kindness then.

The little girl next door who snuck healing herbs through his window each night.

She became his salvation, his light in the darkness.

That light was Sarah.

The moment she transferred to our school, Daniel recognized her.

He believed every word she said about my bullying, hated me with his whole soul.

Yet he had to court me, the Alpha's daughter, the gifted healer.

Because only my abilities could heal his old wounds completely.

Without my help, he might never shift properly.

He'd be trapped as an Omega, the lowest rank, forever.

Thinking of his manipulation, I spoke coldly:

"Let's end this."

His red eyes widened, genuine fear flickering through them. "Why? Give me a reason, Vivian."

I wiped my fur where he'd touched me, contempt in every movement:

"I don't mate with Omegas." I smiled sweetly. "You're too weak for my bloodline. Is that reason enough?"

Before the Alpha King's judgment, I visited my old friends in the silver-lined holding cells.Michael was first. His Alpha power had dimmed to almost nothing, but his eyes still burned with hatred.I smiled: "Don't look at me like that, brother.""I know what you want to ask.""Being driven out like a lone wolf? I've already lived through that once. Did you think I spent these years in Europe just enjoying myself?"Those hardest months, I barely slept.Between Alpha College classes and building Shadow Pack, I was tracking down every connection.Following threads from my past life to uncover evidence of their crimes.Their methods were too practiced, too perfect. This couldn't have been their first time.Evil wolves don't suddenly turn cruel. In the shadows where I couldn't see, their darkness must run deeper.I was right."Michael, Father always said I wasn't his true daughter. He raised you to be a ruthless Alpha, willing to break pack law for power. Thankfully, I'm nothing like him."

Amid the chaos, another security crystal activated before the Committee. This recording showed the European Alpha College, filled with wolves of every pack.A group of betas were tormenting an Omega student, mocking her weak healing abilities. The lead beta, a blonde wolf, sneered: "This is how real wolves heal, worthless Omega."Then I appeared, my Alpha power flooding the hall.I slammed him against the wall, fangs bared:"Still laughing? Did you laugh this hard when your pack cast you out?"He shifted, challenging me.My claws found his throat easily."Learn some respect, or I'll teach you what real Alpha power feels like."The Omega who submitted the recording testified before the Committee:"I was born weak, nearly culled at birth. Unlike Sarah, I had no wealthy patron, no special treatment. Just determination to prove my worth. I watched Vivian defend every weak wolf, while others called her cruel."Pack leaders spoke up across territories:"Wait - isn't this the same Vivian Reed

Just as I appeared to be losing ground on all fronts.Sarah achieved what she'd schemed for - Senior Healer status at the Royal Institution. One step away from Chief Healer, exactly as planned.Michael hosted a celebration worthy of an Alpha's mate. The great hall of their pack house dripped with wealth - crystal chandeliers, ancient healing artifacts, rare herbs displayed in golden cases.Pack leaders from every major territory filled the room, their power humming through the air.Michael had invited them all, carefully laying groundwork for Sarah's Chief Healer bid.Sarah floated through the crowd in pristine white healer's robes, silver healing stones glittering at her throat. Her voice stayed soft, humble: "I only wish to serve the packs. I returned to the pack after four years. The winter air carried the scent of change - and revenge.Stepping out of my car, I saw Sarah's face dominating the Royal Healing Institution's banner.Perfect skin, practiced innocent smile. I arrived in London one month before Michael was due.Outside the European Healing College, I was about to ask for directions when I spotted a familiar face.Alexander Blake, years younger than I remembered. He faced a tall, slender she-wolf in healer's robes, her silver pendant marking her as a top student."That's my formula," she snapped. "Who gave you permission to negotiate pack alliances with my research?"Blake forced a smile: "What's yours is mine, Katherine. We developed it together.""The theory was mine. The experiments were mine. You just recorded data as my assistant. What makes you think you can sell my work?"Katherine Wells stood her ground.Blake's friendly mask slipped:"Don't push me, Katherine!""We're graduating soon. I'm thinking of our future! What good is the formula locked away? We need a strong pack's resources to develop it properly.""I'll say this one last time." Her eyes flashed gold. "This. Is. My. Work."She stared him down coldly."The formula is mine.
