I’ve done a lot of stupid things in my life, reckless, impulsive decisions that had no business existing.
But nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to what I just did.
I stood there, frozen, completely naked, one hand clutching the towel that should’ve been wrapped around me ten seconds ago, the other too stunned to move. And Liam… God.
He was awake, watching. Slouched in a chair by the window like some brooding Greek statue, his features were half-shadowed, half-lit by the soft glow spilling from the bathroom. His face was unreadable and relaxed and silent.
Like he hadn't just witnessed me streak across the room, dripping wet and very, very exposed.
I wanted to die. Or explode. Or evaporate into steam like the mist still clinging to my skin.
My brain scrambled for a solution that didn’t involve hurling myself through the glass window behind him.
He cleared his throat, and the sound snapped me into action.
Wrapping the towel around
