Zofi woke up from her restful sleep. She opened her eyes and saw the ceiling of her room. She feels the cushion where she’s lying on. It feels like it’s her bed and not the couch in the living room.
“Billie!” she screamed as soon as she realized that she’s alone in the room.
She ran fast outside the door with her heart beating fast. What if everything that she knew happened yesterday or last night was only a dream?
The sight of that back working in the kitchen made her worries stop. She ran to Billie and gives him a back hug. She doesn’t want to let go.
“Hey, you’re awake already?” he asked.
Zofi didn’t answer. She pressed her face on his back.
Billie turnaround and saw her eyes still showing her worries.
“Did you cry? Aren’t you feeling well? Do you have headache?” he asked.
“I thought everything was unreal,” she said.
“Unreal like I wasn’t really here?” he asked.
Zofi nodded. He gave her a kiss on her lips.
“I’m here. Everything is real,” he said.
“I was surprised to find my
