Like a lost soul with no means of redemption, I walked out of the garden and kept wandering into the woods.
If by fixing my mess, my parents meant that I should make things return to their previous state, even though I doubt the possibility of that, and I bet they know so too, but somehow, they prefer living in denial.
So long as Asher was very much in the picture, all of my efforts would be flushed down the drain. Like an obstacle, he was always in my face, every damn time. Better put, he was worse than an obstacle, because even obstacles have a way around them and a solution too... Unlike Asher, except...
My breath was labored with the mere realization of the only solution to my problem. Kicking him out of her life and making Jasmine mine, would only mean gaining all of his vileness, and not like I was scared to go toe to toe with him or anything of that sort, only that it was a temporary solution to a permanent problem.
The only illogical thing to do was elimina
