Beep. Beep. Beep.
My eyelids flashed open as I took in all that was before me; the bright room, smell of spirit, ECG machine... It was obvious that I was in a hospital.
Where was I? I get it that I was in a hospital, but I meant the pack. When we had the car crash, we were already at the border of the Ice pack and I doubt the next pack was ours.
I wasn't so acquainted with boundaries and I never bothered myself with it always.
"Someone finally wakes." A male voice called when the door opened.
I struggled to sit up a bit, so I would be able to put a face to the voice... Oh! Beta Crane?! How in Sky's name was he here?
"Beta Crane," I mumbled, too tired to speak for long.
"How are you doing, Alpha?" He teased as he came closer.
