'SEBASTIAN'
My hands were visibly shaky and for a moment, I froze on the spot. When I regained myself, the rider was gone, leaving me with a brown case of nightmare.
There was no way I was going to bring that into my home. Unsure of my next reaction, I simply glared at the nasty name over and over again. I yelped on hearing Asher's voice.
"Babe?" Asher called, noticing I was spending so much time than necessary at the gate.
"A minute." I got thrown into a state of frenzy, spiraling in circles, shuffling between the idea of trashing it or showing him. I haven't even read the content of the letter, but I also didn't need a seer to know Sebastian was of no good... He was never of any good.
"Is everything okay out there?" He demanded.
I mopped, almost shedding tears as his footsteps got louder.
"Calm down, Jasmine." I tried to calm my nerves and practiced the breathing exercise. In and out, I inflated and deflated my lungs.
