Jasmine's POV
I woke up after a long night and just remained immobile on the bed. If it were possible, I just wanted to be in bed and not move a limb. It never felt the same.
After Asher found out about Sebastian being in the same workspace as me, and in the most embarrassing way, nothing felt the same. I wouldn't blame him if I were in his shoes, I would probably think I was a form of rebound or a get-back weapon.
On the day of the incident, which was two days ago to be exact, it took hours before Asher finally opened the door, but not his heart. I tried talking to him and explaining things, and he just spaced out... I knew he needed time, but I wasn't capable of giving him such. I was devastated too.
Though we slept in the same bed, but it seemed like we were worlds apart. We exchanged pleasantries and talked but that was as far as it went.
