Jasmine's POV
Today was the first day of resumption after I got served twice. I didn't look forward to a pleasant day at work, not when all of my clients would go to Dr. Liam, and I would only watch and assist.
Liam would never put me in such a tight corner, against Brady's instruction, he would leave me to attend to them myself, but it didn't matter when it changed nothing. And it would never reflect in my paycheck, so why stress?
Asher insisted on driving me to work, but I persuaded him to do the school run instead and relax since his job allowed him to work from home.
"Hey, Jasmine.” Liam beamed when I got into the office.
“Hello, good morning.”
“Morning, dear.” He checked me out. "My dear friend is glowing.”
I giggled and went to my desk and got comfortable.
"Thanks for having the kids for the weekend.”
“It's nothing.” He brushed it off as he went through some files on his desk. "And I'm sorry I couldn't come with Rylee to drop the kids. I was a bit tied up with work.”
