"I'm still here.” My voicemail message sounded.
“Shit.” I let out a soft sigh.
I had missed Rylee’s call, and when I flipped my wristwatch to check what time it was, it was crystal clear that I was fifteen minutes late and counting.
In haste, I rushed out of my office, with my bag and gadget clutched to my bosom. I got into the car, and dumped my properties on the vacant seat, with a few dropping to the floor, but I didn't bother. Switching on the ignition, I started the ride to the restaurant which was sadly thirty minutes away.
Rylee would be pissed as fuck, especially since this incident, it would seem like I was acting up suddenly, and I doubt she would give a damn about my stupid excuses. Finally, I arrived at the restaurant, and I literally ran out of the park.
