Liam's POV
“Argh!” I sighed as I struggled with the bags of groceries and toiletries from the passenger side of the car.
They were not so heavy, but I was already exhausted. Knowing how particular Rylee was on her personal items, I walked around the mall almost three times just to be sure I got the exact thing she wrote on the list. Ladies!
Finally having a fine grasp of all of them, I started for the door. I managed to bring out my bunch of keys from my pocket and insert the right one in the lock. I bet Rylee was still exhausted, I wouldn't want to bother her. The door gave way and I got in.
Oddly, the living room was a bit warm despite the air conditioner. I closed the door with my leg and advanced in. The scent that greeted me was so fresh and strong and irresistible.
“Heavenly,” I whispered as I greedily inhaled the scent of freshly baked chocolate cookies.
In haste, I dropped the bag of toiletries on the center table and took the bag of groceries into the kitchen. I was fam
