Liam's POV
“Are you sick?”
"No," I answered another of Brady's hundredth questions. It was like he had a pocketful of them, as I was tired of keeping count.
It was almost fifteen whole minutes since I got into his office and he began with the nonstop interrogation like I was dying the next minute and he needed everything about me in a book, or maybe I was a wanted criminal and somehow, I didn't know about it.
Going on and on with the questions I was obviously not done with, got me more irritated. Was Brady trying to piss me off and get me on his bad book, not like anyone was on the good one, but then, all of his act seemed like he was doing this on purpose.
“Do you have a sick child?” He kept at it. How convenient.
“No.” I groaned a response. I was the one in need of a favor, I guess I would stick with whatever came with it.
“Or a sick wife or family member?” He threw yet another of his numerous questions at my face, unapologetically.
