Author’s POV
"Hello, Mr. Brady, may we please have a moment of your attention?” Dr. Brady took the lead.
He was in the company of Dr. Jenkins and they were both in Mr. Brady's office. The atmosphere was thick with suspense as they all looked serious.
"Hello, Dr. Berneji and Jenkins.” Brady looked away from his desktop for just a moment and then looked back to his desktop.
“We won't take forever.” Dr. Berneji chipped in as though he was trying to persuade Mr. Brady to give them an audience.
“Like right?” Brady's eyes were still on his monitor.
"Yeah, we're sorry for the inconvenience this impromptu meeting might cause you, but we would be out of your hair before you know it.” Dr. Berneji spoke up once more.
