Writer's POV
Two days later.
Sally got to work extremely early because she didn't want anyone to get there before her, especially after what happened last week.
She arranged her desk properly and sat down on the chair, waiting for everyone to resume work for the day. While everyone was resuming, she chose not to lock eyes with any of them because she was still kind of upset with them even though she got her lick back that day.
Chris walked in, and unlike before, she didn't greet him even though she saw him walk inside. After what they did to her, she decided she wasn't going to act stupid towards them anymore, and she's going to act like every other staff member without trying to make herself act too good to be promoted. Sally decided to drop the idea of getting promoted and just enjoy her work experience. Maybe that way she will feel better.
