Third Person's POV
Sebastian didn't understand why Grayson had to leave so soon after his heat was over. No matter how many times his mate told him it was important and he would be back as soon as possible, it still hurt. It was his first heat. The first time he was so vulnerable in front of his mate, just to have him leave the very day after it was over. It made the Delta feel like he did something wrong. It was a knife to his heart, but he hid his heartbreak.
He tried hiding in his room, but his new best friend wouldn't let him. His brother-in-law was knocking at his door only a few hours after Grayson left. Kyle kept him company all day and even spent the night. They camped out in the living room, eating junk food and watching movies until they fell asleep. He was thankful for Kyle. He wasn't sure how he would have gotten through the night without Grayson alone.
