LARA
Ever since Magnus arrived home from work, I sensed a strange shift in his behavior towards me. He didn't even recognize me when he saw me overseeing the new trainees in the villa's expansive grounds. He just glanced at me without even smiling. He just went straight to the room, so I decided to follow him.
"Magnus, are you okay? Why do you seem so down?" I asked, expressing my concern.
"I'm fine," he replied curtly.
I thought, maybe he was just tired from work, especially that he was still adjusting to his new responsibilities in their business. And perhaps he had a lot on his mind regarding the pack's management. I thought of giving him enough time to rest.
However, when I woke up around one in the morning, I noticed he was not on my side. I left the room, thinking he might be on the terrace. I searched the entire villa, but he was nowhere to be found. The surroundings were quiet, with only the guards doing their hourly roving.
I tried calling his cellphone, but he was not picking
