Bound to the Alpha I must kill; A Dravenmoor Academy Romance

Lucien Thorne thought he could survive Dravenmoor by hiding his omega frame and accepting bullying—until he is bound to kill the Academy's golden boy, Xavier. Lucien is an omega—widely considered weak. Transferred to Dravenmoor Academy on a scholarship, he just wants to stay hidden and make his mother proud. But when he discovers she is on the verge of death, Lucien realizes that gaining visibility through the supreme student leader program is his only way to save her. But Fate and the Moon Goddess have other plans. Instead of one leader, two are selected. Now Lucien must choose between killing the person his body craves… and saving his mother’s life. To make matters worse, a new scandal claims a forbidden same-sex relationship lies at the heart of the very force Lucien is trying to defeat. Can Lucien save his mother while fighting his feelings for Xavier, or will he end up losing both?

Chapter: Chapter 20: Running Hot 2
He felt it from when he was inside his dormitory. At first, he thought it was just the pent up anger in him, but the moment his wolf started to rumble deep within him, he just knew that something was very wrong. Then when the same wolf directed him to the healing spring side, he thought that he was in some kind of pain and being in the spring was what he wanted. He was on his feet before he even decided to make the decision to, his whole body tightened up as though a part of him was in pain. What he didn’t expect however was the person already in the spring before he got there. Lucien. He stood at the entrance, his hand still on the handle of the door and his jaw tight. His wolf started to run around in his head, howling and whining at the same time. He finally pushed the door open fully, taking in the full image of Lucien as he tipped his head in the water with his eyes barely open. His cheeks were flushed red, rosy under the moon light. Everything seemed… different about him.

Chapter: Chapter 19: Running Hot
Finn was at his side immediately and the moment his hand made contact with Lucien’s skin, he flinched and moved away from his as though the touch burnt. Technically, there’s nothing Finn can do as Lucien is an omega and he is a Beta. “We need you to get you to the nurse now. This is very strange.” Finn said, standing to his full height with worry lining his face. “No.” Lucien grunted, shaking his head. He knew that he needed medical attention but even with the amount of pain wracking through him, he understood that he couldn’t allow that happen. “But you need it. You need to get checked.” Another bout of pain wracked through him and he let out a very shaky breath.Omega heat is unrare in Dravenmoor and his definitely should have been covered up with the kind of stress and rigorous training he had gone through in the past few days. And because of that, he was very certain that the nurse would take it as a special case, and he wasn’t ready for any diagnosis that would make him unf

Chapter: Chapter 18: A new mission
“Just go up there and do your stuff, I don’t think you should look back or even give the crowd attention. Just do you.” Finn said.Lucien looked around him and immediately understood why Finn was saying all that he said. The endurance trial was just about to start and the students were already supporting Xavier. He swallowed down a lump that had formed in his throat and nodded at Finn then stepped away ftom him. The trial was happening at the lower castle corridor, and students were made to observe from designated pointe along the route. He cracked his knuckles, putting up a tough front as he waited for Maren to make the first call. He was a ball of nerves, but he also wasn’t about to show that to everyone, instead he focused more on telling himself that he would get this over with. “Warm up!” Maren ordered, and he immediately knew that he was saying they should run laps around the field. He forged ahead and even he could feel the diffrencs in his stance from when he was aspiring

Chapter: Chapter 17: The Second Rule
“Maren!” Lucien yelled, running as he jolted back to reality. Maren swiveled around on the spot, “Lucien.” He said stoically. “No, you can’t take tomorrow off.” “I’m not asking for a day off training. I have a question to ask you.” Lucien said, shifting on his leg. “Shoot.” “What happened forty years ago?” He asked and he watched as confusion grew on Maren’s face. “With the Alpha picking, I mean. Was there a bonded pair?” He watched as Maren’s face shifted, going through different stages of emotions. Lucien waited for a response but he got one for a whole one minute because Maren was frozen. “A bonded pair did happen, but I can’t remember how it played out.” Maren responded, “All I know is that the academy can’t house more than one Alpha. It’s either that, or there’s none.” He moved back, “Focus on this one instead of trying to uncover the one that happened years ago. It changes nothing about what’s happening now.” He said with a ticked jaw and walked away. “Something is wron

Chapter: Chapter 16: What just happened
The kiss didn’t last long but it lasted. Because even when Xavier broke the kiss and stood up, Lucien still felt the warmth of his lips like it never left at all, even though every part of his body felt cold because of Xavier’s sudden loss of contact, his lips weren’t. Xavier stood far away and the look on his face wasn’t shock, anger or even regret. It was far from it. Instead, he looked like someone who was chastising himself. His jaw ticked and before Lucien could say anything, he had grabbed his things and walked out through the door. He moved so fast that it almost looked like he was running. It was then that Lucien pushed his body up, his heart beating fast like it was threatening to fall out of his chest. His hand rose up before he could control himself then before he knew it, he was touching his lips. He almost hissed at the sudden feeling of deja vu. It felt like Xavier’s lips were still on his. He looked around the room — the shelf digging into the wall which he surely w

Chapter: Chapter 15: Accident
Adric stared at both of them for a while, face ashen with shock before she moved back. She said nothing and just left and that was worse than anything she could have decided to say at that moment. They were both quiet in the water for a while and even though neither of them said nothing at first, the fact was right there. Adric was very close to Xavier’s father, and if his father heard that he was caught in an intimate position with Lucien, things could get very bad, worse than the Carla situation even. At that thought, Xavier pushed Lucien away and even though his head was throbbing badly, he ran out of the water. He chased after Adric who hadn’t walked so far from the entrance luckily. “Principal.” He called out and Adric swiveled on the spot. “Oh, Xavier. You’re done with taking a dip in the water?” She asked, staring at his still wet body. “Whatever you saw back there isn’t what you think it is.” He grounded. “In a nutshell, you don’t have to report it to my father.”
