“You’re supposed to be my enemy,” Xavier said, his thumb brushing over Lucien’s lower lip. “Why then do you smell like mine?”
Lucien trembled, his hands had somehow found Xavier’s waist. “Kiss me, and I’ll still kill you.” His voice shook as he talked, but he maintained his stance.
Xavier let out a low, humorless breath. “I still get to kiss you then.” He moved his face closer to Lucien’s, “And maybe also kill you before you get the chance to kill me first.”

Chapter: Chapter 31: IntoxicatedLucien woke up with the memory of Xavier’s thumb dragging across his lips and for once, he considered staying in bed and reminiscing about the entire time at the hot spring.But he didn’t. Chapter: Chapter 30: ReminiscenceAfter breakfast, Elias dragged Lucien around and made them do more physical campaigns. It seemed that he kept discovering new sides to Elias every time and the one he discovered today was his crazily energetic side. Finn abandoned them just one hour into the campaign, but Elias stood tall. And since Lucien was the one being campaigned for, he just had to be in it. By evening, his body was screaming for rest and some alone time. He was so tired that he practically dragged himself over to the hot spring, not bothering to go back to the dormitory.
