Ava spent her entire life being an outcast.
Wolfless, orphaned, and burdened by a strange birthmark she desperately hid from the world, she never imagined that the powerful Alpha Damien would turn out to be her fated mate. Becoming Luna should have been the beginning of her happiness, but instead it became the start of her nightmare. Unable to conceive and constantly judged by the pack, Ava finds herself blamed for every misfortune that befalls the territory. When another woman claims to be carrying Damien's child, the elders seize the opportunity to replace her.
Then comes the ultimate betrayal.
Before the entire pack, Damien publicly rejects Ava as his mate and banishes her from the pack. Broken and humiliated, she is forced to watch another woman take her place. Worse still, she is compelled to give her blood to the very woman who helped destroy her life. With her heart shattered and her body weakened, Ava is cast out into the wilderness and left to die.
But fate has other plans.
Rescued by a powerful neighboring pack, Ava discovers that the birthmark she always considered a curse is actually the key to a shocking secret. She is the long-lost daughter of a legendary Alpha bloodline. During a sacred ceremony, her hidden powers awaken, transforming her mark into a rare six-pointed star—the sign of the Moon Goddess's Chosen. For the first time in her life, Ava finds a loving family, awakens a magnificent silver wolf, and learns her true worth.
Just when she begins rebuilding her life, another secret comes to light: she is pregnant with Damien's child.

Chapter: Chapter 65: What the Battle DecidedThe aftermath of Varek's failed attack proved, in many ways, considerably more significant than the battle itself, word of his desperate, unsanctioned strike spreading rapidly through the Wardens' entire order within days of its decisive failure.Bastian arrived at Silverpeak personally, barely a week after the engagement's conclusion, his careful scholarly composure carrying genuine, evident relief at finding Wren's family safely recovered from the considerable danger they'd faced."His own remaining supporters have largely abandoned him," Bastian reported, once the family had gathered to hear his careful account of the Wardens' internal political upheaval. "Word of his unsanctioned attack, launched entirely outside our order's established governance and resulting in decisive, humiliating defeat, has thoroughly destroyed whatever credibility his earlier rhetoric managed to maintain. Thessaly's governance challenge, originally scheduled for

Chapter: Chapter 64: When the Shadow Finally StruckWren's sensing ability caught the approaching threat nearly an hour before it reached Silverpeak's borders, a concentrated cluster of dimmed, concealed presences moving with purposeful, coordinated speed through the forest's northern reaches."They're coming," she announced, her concentration absolute as she tracked the approaching force's steady advance, Ronan and Ezra already moving to activate the defensive protocols the family had spent two careful weeks preparing. "Perhaps twenty strong, moving directly toward our position. This is it, I believe. Varek's desperate final attempt."The warning carried swift and thorough through Silverpeak's entire territory, warriors moving into carefully rehearsed defensive positions while the children, trained extensively for exactly this possibility, took up the specific roles their family's careful preparation had assigned to each of them.Elara and Vera, their combat training now

Chapter: Chapter 63: The Vote and the Desperate ManSpring arrived at Silverpeak carrying genuine, cautious optimism alongside its usual seasonal renewal, Bastian's steady correspondence over the preceding months charting Thessaly's careful, patient progress toward a formal governance challenge that now, finally, approached its decisive conclusion. The vote convenes in three weeks, his latest letter reported, careful hope evident even through his typically measured scholarly prose. Thessaly's support has grown considerably beyond what any of us anticipated following the combat's unexpected aftermath. Varek's public hesitation that day, however politically costly he clearly recognized it to be, has proven impossible for him to fully explain away among supporters who increasingly question whether his harsh rhetoric genuinely matches his demonstrated conduct. I believe, cautiously, that Thessaly's formal challenge carries genuine prospect of success, which would return our order's leadership to her more measured, de

Chapter: Chapter 62: What Varek Could Not AffordThe silence stretched long and taut across the mountain clearing, every gathered Warden watching Varek with careful, evaluating attention, waiting to see exactly how he would answer Wren's unflinching challenge.Varek's expression carried visible, conflicted calculation — old fury at the unexpected interruption warring against evident recognition of precisely how dangerous an outright demand for Thessaly's death would prove, spoken plainly before an audience whose support he still needed to properly consolidate."Heal her," he said finally, the words carrying evident, bitter reluctance despite his outward attempt at magnanimous composure. "I have won this combat fairly, according to our order's established precedent. I have no need of her death to confirm what today's engagement has already properly settled."Wren didn't waste the opportunity his careful retreat provided, her healing power already flowing steady an

Chapter: Chapter 61: A Request for HelpThree months passed in careful, watchful quiet, Thessaly's promised internal advocacy proceeding through whatever slow, deliberate channels her order's leadership required, while Wren's family maintained their own heightened vigilance without any further direct confrontation disturbing Silverpeak's fragile peace. The quiet ended abruptly on a cold winter evening, when a courier bird arrived bearing Bastian's unmistakable handwriting, though the message's urgent, uneven script carried none of his usual careful composure.Varek has moved against Thessaly directly, the hurried note read. A formal challenge to her leadership, invoking ancient precedent that permits combat succession should sufficient internal support be demonstrated. He has gathered considerably more backing than any of us properly anticipated — perhaps a third of our entire order now stands behind his position. The formal challenge combat is scheduled for three days from

Chapter: Chapter 60: What the Hardliners RevealedThe two captured hardliners, unlike the disciplined agent who had chosen death over Silverpeak's earlier interrogation, proved considerably more willing to speak once Thessaly herself took personal charge of their questioning, her evident fury at their unsanctioned betrayal carrying weight that apparently superseded whatever ideological conviction had driven their reckless attack."You will tell me exactly who authorized this action," Thessaly said, her voice carrying cold, absolute authority as she confronted the younger of the two captured attackers, a man whose earlier defiant bearing had crumbled considerably under the combined pressure of his leader's fury and his companions' deaths. "Our order's entire future credibility depends on understanding precisely how deep this unsanctioned faction's reach actually extends.""Commander Varek," the young man admitted finally, voice shaking despite evident effort to maintain some remaining compos
