Synopsis.
Maya, a 19-year-old student, used to think that not giving up on love was a sign of strength, until her boyfriend, Captain Nathan, of four years, shattered the illusion. He was a manipulative and toxic boyfriend who broke her heart severely, yet crawled his way back into her life. However, after catching him with her best friend, Kierra, in the locker room, she got fed up with love and wanted just peace and money for her sick mother's medical treatment. But after an unexpected encounter at a party with the college golden boy, Davies Jnr, Nathan's rival, her story took an unexpected turn. Davies saw her as the perfect girl to repair his tarnished reputation, and he offered her a fake dating contract: He would pay her sick mother's medical bills, and she would play the role of his girlfriend to debunk his playboy image. Torn between pride and love for her family, she signed the fake dating agreement with Davies. She said it was just a roleplay, set rules between them, grew cold at him privately, but to the outside they were perfect lovers, and that was enough blow on Nathan's face. Nathan, coupling with Kierra, would do anything to get back at her. Nathan wanted her back, while Kierra was just after her selfish desires. But as the fake dating contract pulled them closer in irresistible proximity, fighting rivalries, and defeating social scandals, the thick line between them began to fray, getting thinner and more dangerous.
