-Yes, I'm studying law, I've transferred to one here- I answer. -That's very nice, little one. -And how are the competitions going? I ask enthusiastically and he smiles. -Well, although there is a boy who is very good but he refuses the legal ones- he says. -Is he good? -The best, but he doesn't change his mind. -It's his loss. -Tomorrow come to train- he says excitedly. -Mhm, ok, what time? -Six o'clock here, if you're late you'll find out- he says, pointing at me accusingly. I raise my hands in amusement.

Keeping Score

Keeping Score

"And eww. I don't want to think about parents and making out and-just no." So Leo and I had the house to ourselves as we watched the day's football highlights. We were on the sofa, and Leo had his knee propped on the coffee table, covered with an ice bag. I lay with my head on his lap, drowsy from the day and the intoxicating warmth coming from the fire I'd started in our fireplace. "Tate did well today. Check that out." Leo turned up the volume a little as the stats from the Philadelphia-San Diego game rolled across the bottom of the screen. "They won, too."

This is a phenomenal book!! Great character depth and development! You need tissues for this one but a fantastic HELA that you question will happen throughout the book. This author needs to write more books!! Would LOVE to see Gia or Zelda's stories but honestly, I would read anything by this author

Jessica asked. “Palm Springs, he has a championship match there next week,” Malachi said as Adara stood to one side. Malachi turned towards her and looked at her. “He always did like a good fight,” Adara said softly. “Are you okay?” he asked her and she nodded her head, still crying. “I’m okay, I’m just…something.” “It’ll be okay, Adara, let’s just get him home,” Malachi said as he hugged her again.

He couldn't forget the agility if the lady the moment she hopped onto his back, Eric, who usually sits at the back with his boss was at the front seat, occasionally stealing glances from his boss through the rear view mirror, an immense itch of gossip filled his gut, it was not everyday that you found your missing boss tied up in a rundown apartment having eaten nothing all night. And to say it was Drake Wilson, the best at Martial arts and close combat in their circle was totally a huge selling piece of gossip. But Eric knew his moments, just not now.

The Lycan

“I don’t know.” “There are four favorite sports at this school. Basketball, soccer, rugby, and lacrosse. Who wins the most? Lacrosse and basketball. Rugby? A bit lame. Soccer? Sucks.” “Then what are you in?” Miro pointed to some people walking away. The basketball team. “Ahh, so you’re in that. Wait, isn’t that a boy band member?” Lyall squinted, trying to get a better look. “Welp, yup, there he is. So he’s in basketball?”

Kaori-nee was a good cook and the food did not allow me to make a distasteful face at him. “That much?” Hiro-san chuckled, raking a hand through his dyed light hair. I still haven’t figured out whether calling it white or silver or grey or a really light shade of black (which would mean that it wasn’t black) would do it justice. Either way, it suited him. It complimented his eyes. “Do you miss playing basketball so much?” “Mm. Not really. I hadn’t really thought about it. The last time that I played was in university. The dream just made me remember it. That’s all.”

The sports knights held competition that required everyone gathered to have paid a particular amount of money to watch the games of swimming, tennis, football, basketball, hockey, volleyball etc. The book blazers had debate competitions and educative outreach programs which they got paid for while the socials held different kinds of entertainment that'd make everyone interested paying for gate fee.

I shrugged. "The lessons were fun." I replied and Lee hugged me. "Not as fun as the sky diving ones though" he countered. "My favorite were the scuba diving ones" I added and Lee agreed. "Wow. You two have done a lot" Luna Stephanie observed. I shrugged but Lee nodded. "Willow isn't one to sit around. She's always busy." He pointed out and I didn't argue. "That hasn't changed then" Mom agreed. "Yeah. She's always been like that" Carla added.

This was a fantastic story! Well written, flowed well, and loved the different POVs. Definitely had some twists and turns throughout with a few sad moments, but also had some beautiful, loving moments as well. Also happy with the epilogue & how it tied everything together. Nicely done author! 😊

Jordan asked and I smiled doing just that allowing the car to get cool, my gaze going back to Cassi who was outside conversing, Jason now moving towards the car with Trinity. I quickly unlocked the doors, allowing him to pull it open. "Mom I want to buy new soccer shoes," Trinity announced the moment the door closed. "What's wrong with those?" I asked referring to the ones on her feet, as my gaze followed Jason who now joined in on the conversation that Cassi was having with the coach. "It's not for me, it's for a girl on the team," she announced "A girl on the team?" I asked turning giving her my fill attention.
