Mated to My Alpha Bully
His gaze searched my face, like he was looking for any sign I wasn't myself, before he swallowed hard. "Then tell me who I am."
I held his stare. "Drake Dawson. My mate. The boy I hate more than anyone in this pack."
His jaw flexed.
"And you still want this?"
"Only tonight," I said. "Tomorrow, you reject me and I leave Sterlink. This changes nothing."
Drake held my gaze, as if giving me one last chance to change my mind.
I didn't. Instead, I reached for him, grabbed the front of his robe, and pulled him to me.
Drake caught my mouth in a hard kiss that tasted of whiskey, his hands gripping my hips with rough possession as he dragged me down onto the mattress.
He stared down at my body with a dark, twisted look before sneering, "If it weren't for the bond, I would never spare you a second look."
His words hit a nerve, and I glared up at him with fury, trying to shove him away.
Instead, he caught my wrists, pinning them hard against the mattress, his voice dropping to a low growl. "Too late to go anywhere now."

Chapter: Chapter 5: Giving InCHLOE’S POVIt all felt like a sick dream. One moment I was being lifted into the back seat of a car, the next, I woke in an unfamiliar room, voices drifting through the space as two people argued heatedly nearby."That's not what Malcolm and I agreed to." My mother's voice carried over, sharp and angry. "I can't sell my daughter for only twenty-five percent of the debt."I lay still, unable to believe my ears.Sell?"Well, that's what Alpha Malcolm instructed," a strange man's voice answered coldly. "If you have a problem, take it up with him directly.""Take it up directly?" My mother let out a disbelieving laugh. "My daughter just came of age. She hasn't been touched. It has to cost more than twenty-five percent of my debt. Hell, I'd even raise the price to fifty!"I looked down to see my clothes were now gone, replaced by a sparkly bra and underwear with a thin silk robe tossed over top.My hands were also tied tightly behind my back with a piece of fabric. My heart hammered as ev

Chapter: Chapter 4: DefianceDRAKE’S POV"Master Drake, your father is expecting you in the study."The butler's voice echoed through the entrance hall of the Dawson estate. I rolled my shoulders back, straightened my posture, and walked towards the wooden doors, pushing them open.As usual, my father sat behind his massive desk, buried beneath stacks of reports and ledgers. His reading glasses sat low on his sharp nose, his dark hair streaked with silver and his features were set in a hard, stern expression.I stopped several feet from his desk. "You wanted to see me, Father."He didn't look up immediately. He finished scratching his signature onto a parchment before his grey, cold eyes met mine."Where did you disappear to after the ceremony?" he asked, his voice deep and even. "I had the regional university board members waiting by. It was time to introduce you properly as a potential candidate.""I had something to tend to," I replied, keeping my tone flat.He let out a dry, humorless chuckle, looking back do

Chapter: Chapter 3: His Perfect LunaCHLOE’S POVI left the hall not knowing what to think. It all felt like a dream. No. A disturbing nightmare.Never would I have thought the one person I was desperately trying to escape would end up being my mate. My fated mate. This had to be a joke. A sick joke by the Moon Goddess herself.I was supposed to be at the front office collecting my placement form. Instead my feet carried me through the school halls while I tried to think about what this meant for my plans of running away.I heard it was practically impossible to get away from a mate without it driving you crazy.I knew this could only end one way. Drake was obviously going to reject me, probably already looking for me so he could do it as soon as possible. My mind crossed back to the auditorium. With how cruel Drake was, why hadn’t he rejected me right there, in front of everyone, so they could all laugh at my humiliation?Maybe he was just as startled. Maybe he was so ashamed that he didn’t want anyone finding out. Or

Chapter: Chapter 2: Fated to the Omega I HateDRAKE’S POVNo. There was no fucking way.My wolf slammed against my ribs again.Mate.I clenched my fists.“Shut up.”The word came out under my breath. The bond had hit me violently. When people talked about the mate unlocking, it always sounded romantic. Gentle. This was the clear opposite.Across the auditorium, she was staring at me. Her scent suddenly filled my lungs in a rush, and every instinct inside me demanded that I go to her. Claim her. Protect her. Touch her.I hated every second of it.This couldn’t be real. There had to be some mistake somewhere. No way in hell I was mates with that filthy charity beggar. She was the same girl who had spent years making me look stupid in front of my father. The same girl who always came first in class. The same girl my father praised and had once told me I could learn from. The memory burned hot and bitter in my chest.“Why can’t you apply yourself like the Byrne girl?” he had sneered at me more times than I could count, diminishing ev

Chapter: Chapter 1: The Alpha BullyCHLOE’S POV“Chloe…?”The word was barely out of his mouth before I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me whole.I stood frozen in the empty hallway, afternoon sunlight slicing through the windows and doing nothing to warm the cold dread in my veins.Classes had already started, leaving the corridors eerily quiet, which meant there was no audience to witness this—just me, and the one person on earth who made my skin crawl.Drake Dawson. The Alpha’s son. The boy with impossible blue eyes and a cruelty that ran as deep as his bloodline. Before I could react, Drake snatched the paper straight out of my hands. My post-graduation placement form. The only ticket I had to getting away from this nightmare of a pack.He looked down at the paper, his lips curling into a slow, mocking smile.“What’s the point of filling this out?” he laughed, his voice dripping with condescension.“What’s the point of even graduating when you’re too poor to send yourself anywhere? You think any top universi
