Nicholas' POV

"Kill him," I said and gritted my teeth after Balthazar called me, saying he caught the gunman.

I was inside the hospital room, looking after Blue who's sleeping. She fainted after she got shot and it scared the hell out of me. I don't know why I'm feeling this but seeing her bleeding after she took the bullet that was meant for me reminds me of my mother, the only woman who's willing to die to protect me.
