Chapter 25 The Woman Called Laura

Blue's POV

After being sweet to me, Nicholas became so busy. We seldom see each other in his penthouse and I'm starting to hate what he's doing. It may sound crazy, but I think he's doing this on purpose. He's purposely making himself busy so we won't see each other often. What the heck is his problem?

I frowned as I shook my head. No! I shouldn't let him affect me. Damn it, Blue! You've been saying that to yourself for the nth time.

I shook my head again and wore my shoulder bag. I was about to leave when someone entered Doctor Trevor's office. He was in the comfort room, so I was left alone in his office.

It's a woman wearing a scarf and shades, covering her face. She doesn't seem uncomfortable after seeing me inside Trevor's office. She even faced me.

"I am Dr. Dawson's special patient. He's expecting me today." Her voice was sweet and calm. It was so soothing that I smiled unknowingly.
