Diana stepped out of the shower wrapped in a towel, but when she saw her reflection in the mirror, she dropped it. She couldn't believe it, it was amazing to know that she still had a perfect body. Her breasts were firm, but now larger than before, her waist still looked narrow, her legs were now more shapely than before, and her butt, which had always been her greatest attribute after her face, was arguably now enviable.

«At least all is not lost,» She said to herself with a shrug.

She scrubbed her body with peach body milk and put on a blue lace blouse and her Badtz-Maru cotton pajamas. She wanted to feel cool and comfortable, in the last few days, she was feeling a bit hot.

Diana was untangling her hair when she heard a loud knock on the door, at the same time the doorbell rang insistently.

“Just a moment,” he shouted and exclaimed, “I'm coming!”

She walked to the door a little distracted, but when she opened the door, her face paled.

“Until I hit you,” Ian's deep, guttural, deliciously sexy voice made me swallow thickly.

“What are you doing here?” Diana questioned, at the same time shaking her head in astonishment.

He looked her up and down, minutely detailing her body.

“You don't wanna let me in”.  Ian didn't ask if he could.

He simply pushed the door with a jerk and went through. He looked all around and could tell that there were still boxes to be opened. The house was very clean, it looked very warm. But he wanted her somewhere else. One where she was close by, and where he could keep an eye on her.

“I've been looking for you for more than two months”, he said.

“Why on earth would you do something like that?” She closed the door and looked at him. “You didn't have to. As you can see, I'm doing very well, Ian”.

Ian looked at her impatiently, it annoyed him greatly when Diana pretended to be oblivious.

“It's been several days since I was supposed to be in Italy. I have delayed everything for you, so don't make me waste any more time”.

Diana knew he was not a man to be trifled with. But she had to be strong at that moment and ignore the fact that her knees turned to jelly, just because she was close to him, and the scent of man enveloped her.

“It's not my fault. If that's what you're trying to imply. I didn't ask you to look for me,” she replied, for her the best thing to do at that moment was to throw off her hormone-driven feelings.

“You left Miami and came here, to this city”, he said.

“That was for a job opportunity,” Diana defended herself.

Ian looked at her angrily and narrowed his eyes.

“Better than the company that hired you right out of college?”

“You know, I don't work there anymore. Sometimes change is good, Ian,” she replied a little nervously.

“When were you going to tell me?” He suddenly changed the subject, and his voice contained a touch of reproach.

Diana put her hands over her mouth, to hold back the scream of terror as she realized that he had already figured out why she had left everything.

“I don't know what you're talking about,” she pretended not to know.

“Don't play with me, Diana”.

He approached her, invading her personal space.

“I've never done it,” she nervously tucked her shower-damp hair behind her ear.

Ian took a deep breath. To control the anger he had at that moment.

He had finally found her, he had to think clearly and not get carried away by the urge to grab her by the waist and carry her on his shoulder back home.

As if he were a man from prehistoric times.

“I will ask you the question only once, Diana”.

He pointed his index finger at her.

“When were you planning to tell me you were pregnant with my child?”

Her face paled even more and her body wobbled a little.

“Who told you that?” She answered with a question, giving time to think about the answer.

Ian crossed his strong arms over his broad chest and shook his head. He raised a dark golden eyebrow.

“I talked to Andrew, and he told me about it,” he gave her a lopsided smile and clicked his teeth before adding, “I know how to do the math, you know that? No?”

“Are you sure that my baby is yours?” Diana challenged him with the question, she had often been annoyed by his arrogance.

Ian walked toward her and leaned in a little until he was nose to nose. He didn't want to intimidate her, but he would if he had to.

“Oh, C'mon!” he exclaimed in disbelief. “How could I not be? I know perfectly well that before you broke up with Andrew, you hadn't had sex for more than two months”.

He did a stop and look into her eyes.

“And when you and I met in that club, it had been two months since you had broken off the engagement”.

Now it was she who was furious, she crossed her arms over her chest. Making them raise a little, she intended to say a thing or two to him. But Ian beat her to it.

“You can't lie to my face. Because you and I know very well that there was no other before me, and no other after that night either”.

“Who the hell do you think you are, to know about my sex life? You are so arrogant,” she was very angry.

“That's not the answer to the question I asked you, Diana,” demanded Ian.

“Why do you think that I'm pregnant with you?” she asked again and gave him a feminine, self-satisfied smile.

“DON'T PLAY WITH ME!” shouted Ian, “You and I both know very well that there was no other before me and no other after that night either”.
