Dad arrived before dawn, clutching to my battered corpse like a prize.

Sorrow filled the air, mortuary attendants arriving to take care of it.

Freya's eyes froze when she saw the body still intact.

“How was she still complete?” she asked hastily over the phone when no one was looking.
