LOGINMaya’s pov~
Kurt’s threat sounded very real, and I, for one, can't afford to lose this contract. I had to be on my A-game, do my job, and leave, before I went to see the client, I took one last look at myself in the mirror. I took a long, deep breath; before every performance, I did a ritual where I conjured up my alter ego, the part of me that would do whatever it takes to get it done. I call her the bad Maya. I felt her creep into me slowly as I walked towards the VVIP lounge, I pulled back the curtains dangling in the darkness where the mystery client sat waiting for me. “You asked for me?” I said softly before walking in. He pointed to the pole and motioned for me to go there. His was studying every inch of my body as I moved. Made me uncomfortable as I swirled around the pole in front of him. Why did he want me specifically? Who is this masked stranger? I grabbed the pole and turned, my body gyrating to the slow, sensual music of the night. His eyes feasted upon my body as I inched closer and closer to him. He tapped his legs once, urging me to come forward. But as I leaned closer, I noticed something. His eyes…. The way they narrowed when the red light hit it reminded me of someone. Someone I thought… No, I helped put him in prison many years ago.. It can't be him. But wait, who is this? I leaned into him, my nipples brushing against his thighs as I moved up to meet his gaze. His lips parted to receive my waiting nipples. I tried to touch his mask, but he gently pushed my hand away. He held both my arms behind me in subtle surrender. He pulled me into him, holding me tight; the feeling of his hands like electricity gliding down my back startled me. It stirred every nerve in my body in a way no one ever has. I soon felt them around my bare ass cheeks; he smacked them and pushed my pelvis further to sit on his hardened cock. “I want you…” He said clearly, he pulled my hair softly behind me and kissed my nape. What the hell am I doing? Why am I letting this masked stranger touch me? “I have a boyfriend. " I managed a soft moan, but he didn't care; he reached for his pocket and took out what looked like an envelope. It was thick; my eyes widened with shock. This money could change my life, but that would mean… “I don't care about him,” he scoffed. “He doesn't exist to me." He pulled my face gently to meet those familiar eyes once again. He slowly reached for my lower lip. I watched him slide the mask up to his nose, revealing perfectly plucked lips. Almost as if I were in a trance, I was pulled to them; his lips touched mine, and he devoured them like a hungry lion. I felt his fingers slowly reach for my thighs; I wanted him to stop, but this masked man intrigued me. It was far too dark to see who it was underneath the mask, but his lips and those eyes haunted me. I broke away from his kiss… “This is yours, and there's more where that came from….. only if you let me spread you on my bed tonight and fuck you the way I want, how I want, and when I want you." His voice was thick, and it sounded like sweet poison in my ears. When his tongue reached for my ears again, I sprang up, startling us both. "I'm sorry, I can't do this; I don't want your money," I retorted, stepping further away. He reached for my waist but I pulled, the angrier he got. He got up, picked up the envelope, and put it back in his pocket. He glared at me just before he reached for the door. “I'll make sure you regret this!” he fumed. He threw the curtains out of his way before dashing out in annoyance. Tension engulfed the room, my mind in a million places, wondering if I'd just crossed the devil. If I had, I wondered what punishment awaited me. Still, I couldn't stop thinking about his scent, a raw, earthly scent. Who is this masked stranger? Kurt stood at the entrance, his arms folded; he glared at me. “You just pissed off a high paying client, Maya. If you want your contract back, you are going to do whatever that man wants from you; if not, don't show your face here again!” The rain started, and that was when the call came through. I looked at it; no caller ID. I gave a quick reply, shivering in the rain. “Am I speaking to Maya Collins?” I heard a woman’s calm voice "Yes," I replied in a shaky voice. “I'm Anya from Mayfield Hospital here in Tallinn. Are you alone?” The lady’s voice on the other end asked. “Yes? Can I know what this is about?” I sniffled, picking up my stuff from the roadside. A small pause before she continued. “Your friend Kate Harlow was just involved in a very bad accident; right now, she's in the hospital fighting for her life." The words struck me like thunder, life suddenly leaving my body. “What!” I felt my heart beat out of focus. “She listed you as her emergency contact. I'm sorry, Miss, but if you don't come up with 100 thousand dollars for a heart transplant, I'm afraid your friend Kate will be dead before the week runs out.” That envelope… could have saved Kate…. I fell to the floor, tears flowing from my eyes; I wish I had accepted to sleep with the strange masked man.Maya’s pov~ A soft pat on my cheek followed by the echo of a resounding slap on the cheek, woke me up instantly.I was groggy and still dizzy, but the slap was enough to stimulate me back into reality.“Good, she’s up” I heard a young woman’s husky voice say.I blink my eyes awake, where am i, i was lying on soft padding but I could tell I was on the floor.“Is she awake yet?” Another softer voice asked.“Yes yes she is, thank God, I thought she was dead” the husky woman stated.“Yeah, we won’t want you rotting and ruining the air now.” I looked around, eyes looking back at me, “Where am I? Who are.. " You,” I groaned in pain, I touched the back of my head.Dry, thankfully no blood but I swear I hit the wall so bad I thought I died.“You need to get yourself together, I don't know where they found you, but if you don't get it together you are getting chopped for shark bait” the husky woman said. The thought of it shook me back to reality, “What? Oh my God! Alek! Alek!” A woman quick
ALEK’S POV~“Sir! We got him” That’s all I could hear before gradually coming back to my senses. The first thought that flew past my mind was my wife STILL in her white bra and panties.Anger welled inside me, who the fuck are these guys ruining my wedding night?“Put him on the phone!” the other man yelled through the mask he wore, I felt my weak body get flung into a van and almost immediately the van moved into the main road.I heard gunshots behind me before the driver luckily screeched down the road.“Fuck! We got off!” the driver announced. Slowly, my eyes started to function, the smoke had cleared and now the air was breathable. My body was still weak but I could feel my legs, “shit tie him up! Do you know who the fuck we just snagged?” the driver yelled again, the two other men quickly zip-tied my arms and legs.“Now I'm gonna put you on the phone okay? Any strange sudden movement and I'm gonna knock you the fuck out” I nodded.I needed time to fully regain myself, I felt lik
Maya’s pov~ That night as Alex threw me onto his bed, I quickly scampered for the pillows as a fortress between us. “You think that’s going to save you from what I'm going to do to you?” He asked with a grin, his arms on his hips and he laughed. “What are you going to do to me?” I asked, frightened. I hadn't had time to ask around why he had been tagged the most dangerous man in Estonia. My husband was huge in form, his feet were grounded and it felt like he could stump a man to death with one fatal blow. He always had his eye patch on, specifically covering the right side of his face, why does he hide half his face all the time? I watched him slowly unbutton his shirt, “So you were hoping for Kevin then, something tells me, that way you are staring at me right now, is not the way you’d hoped for the night to go down” he smiled. Wickedly. He took off the shirt and threw it on the arm chair, he walked closer to the bed, my husband terrified me. “Maya, come over here,” he instru
Maya’s pov~ The nurse’s voice was shrill, almost like she was too terrified to tell me what was going on. “There’s been a complication following a brief procedure,” the nurse explained carefully. “She’s stable for now, but we still need authorisation for the remaining treatment expenses as well as the transplant .” Tears burned my eyes immediately. No. Please don't let my friend die. “I’ll pay it, expect the check by tonight” I said quickly, voice breaking. “Please just don’t stop helping her.” The nurse hesitated softly, then paused a long time before she continued. “It seems the Harrington account has just approved the charges.” I froze, h…How, I haven't even said I Do. My gaze lifted slowly toward Aleksandr, He was already watching me. His expression was unreadable. Almost like he knew exactly what that phone call meant. He knew that Kate was the ball and chain keeping me here. A painful lump rose in my throat. A sham marriage. “Thank you, I’ll come see her soon,” I w
Maya’s pov~ “Are you ready to do my bidding?” The old man’s slow, raspy voice echoed through the chamber, curling around me like smoke. I stayed quiet. The kind of quiet that gave my thoughts room to scream. Why am I doing this? The answer came almost immediately. Kate. I swallowed hard, forcing myself to remember why I’d walked into this nightmare in the first place. Kate had stood beside me when nobody else would. When my world collapsed, she’d held the pieces together with bleeding hands and trembling smiles. And now it was my turn. Even if it destroyed me. “Yes,” I finally whispered. The old man smiled from his throne-like chair inside the courthouse office. When he rose, he was quickly assisted by his grandsons to rest on his cane. The Harrington family lawyer standing nearby, organised papers with the precision of a man used to cleaning up disasters for rich people. “Good girl,” the old man murmured. The words made my stomach twist, it disgusted me. Whoever my husba
Aleksandr’s pov~ 72 hours before the plane crash>>>>>>>> “No, Alek! I'm not going to let that gold digger into our lives! You know she wants money right that's why she’s here” Petra’s voice was tense, I could tell if I didn't give in to anything she says right now she’s going to ruin everything I've been planning. “Babe you need to relax” I stated before pulling her back to the bed. “Im not having it Alek! If your grandfather wants grandchildren with her useless bloodline, your older brother is just as available! Why is he making her choose between you both… she….” She paused before turning to me. “Alek what are you up to?” I shrugged before laying her head on the pillow. “Nothing, my grandfather is old and crazy, you know how he makes my brother and me compete for his affection, this is probably another ruse” She glared at me, a blank face. “Oh really,” she asked, pouting with annoyance. I kissed her pouting lips, which seemed to do the trick. “Alek I don't like this, I don
Maya’s pov~ The plane had turned upside down now, rocking heartlessly as we descended at an accelerated rate, my life flashing before my eyes. I held on to the seat belt, but there was so much it could do; I found myself flying towards the pulpit. I grabbed onto another hanging seat belt, alarms n
Maya’s pov~ Where am I? I saw myself from a corner, but strangely not as myself; even though I knew it was me lying on that bed, I could feel the softness of the bedding around my back, and I still couldn't understand it. Lying beside me was a man, his hair covering his face. He lifted his powerf
