The remembrance

Avery still remembered the day of the championship game like it was yesterday. He was a senior in high school, and he had been a star player in the soccer team all season. The pressure was on, and he was determined to lead his team to victory.

But as the game progressed, Avery started to feel the weight of his parents' expectations on his shoulders. They were in the stands, cheering him on, but he couldn't help but feel like he was letting them down.
