My eyes are misty, my foot flat against the floor.
I’m not sure how to keep my emotions in check. I feel lied to, deceived and not okay with this situation at all. My sister Della, who I don’t always get on with at the best of times is dating an immortal? I don’t understand how I could have such a major oversight. Surely that’s the reason I’m getting these hallucinations...It’s some kind of consequence of him being close.

~LuellaThought stands above me, watching me with those glistening silver eyes.Has he always been this attractive? The answer is clearly yes. He’s come from nowhere, appearing in front of me like an apparition, however I can feel the radiation between us, suggesting the realness of this moment. I sit up on the couch, as he rests beside me, not saying a single word. A waver, like a vignette that almost seems to glow, surrounds him.

I’ve accepted to some degree that I’m trapped here until Thought relents, and by the sound of what he has been describing to me for the past half hour, I’m not jumping to leave yet. In fact, leaving this dream-state seems terrifying. As alluring as all Thought’s power may outwardly seem, I know that I would never be able to handle it.
