Emma Jean stood there with her hands covering her mouth. Tears we’re streaming down her eyes. She was in shock, words failed her at that moment. She could only nod her head yes.

Kenji picked her up, spinning her around. “You have no idea how happy that makes me.” He peppered her face in kisses. “Come with me.” He put her down on the porch. Rummaging through his pants pocket he pulled out the keys to the house. He headed straight to unlock the door. When he looked at her, she was confused. A tiny smile formed on his lips.

“Just follow me. I promise it’ll be worth your while.” He took her hand and lead her up the stairs.
