NINETY-THREE

H POV

After resting, I head to the town so I am seen doing my normal things on my day off. I pick up the water and the extra blood bags; I see Maverick walking around the town, too, but other than a quick hello in passing, we do not interact much more. We are not normally together unless we have patrol, so we need to stay with that. I am, however, getting a little worried that Theodore, Patrick, and Ethan are getting a little too close for comfort.

I have noticed that Ethan has taken an interest in Maverick and me, but also Benjamin and Duke, now those two are not too bad of a fallback to blame. They are never on time for patrol; they go off route whenever they feel like it and they always seem to be burning and ordering new uniforms.

Heading back to the barracks for my scheduled off-day nap, I see Ethan following Benjamin and Duke out to their patrol. It doesn't take them long to wander off of route and head to the territory's border. I only follow for a little while as I already kno
