PHOENIX POV

I felt the moment Scarlett carefully moved out of our bed, Soren was asleep, but I was not. I don't know what got into him. He has never been like that with our butterfly. He didn't even notice the change in her towards the end before he fell asleep, but I did. There is something very important and very serious that she is not telling us.

Once she leaves the room, I get up, get dressed, and follow her. It doesn't surprise me when we end up at Dominic's office, as it was where she said she was going before Soren wanted her. I must remember to ask him what that was about once he wakes up again. I watch as Scarlett enters Dominic's office and wait for her to close the door. I move slowly and quietly to the door and just listen.
