ONE-HUNDRED-NINE

I leave Scarlett, or should I say, Cara, standing in the training ring and head back to the barracks. I do as I told her I would; I had a shower and then got dressed into my official patrol uniform but as I was leaving my room; I saw the note posted on the board next to my door. I read it and sigh.

SHIFT DUTY CHANGED

SEE THEODORE IMMEDIATELY

I pull the note off of the board and make my way to Theodore's office. Once there, I knock on the door and hear a muffled.

"Come in"

I open the door to find Theodore sitting at his desk in his uniform with his mate sitting on his lap. Theodore looks up as I enter and says,

"Good! H, all your shifts for guard and patrol duties have been changed. You are one of my highest officers other than Mike, so as of right now, until further notice, you will have a different assignment."

"Yes, Sir!"

"From now on you will be one of Princess Scarlett and Phoenix's personal guards, starting with escorting them to this gathering and then later on their night
