After we arrived at the packhouse, Brook went straight up to her room without a word. I wanted to stop her, but with everything she has been through, I figured she needed some time to herself. Going into my office, it didn’t take long for Eric to barge in.
“What happened?”
“She had a run-in with her old pack.” I answered while deleting all the files I had on my computer, related to the contract between Brook and me.
“You can’t just tell me that and not explain what the hell happened.”
I didn’t feel like it was my place to tell him what happened, though I suppose I did owe him some explanation.

Tatum- The fact she was even giving me a chance to prove myself was more than I could ask for. I didn’t blame her for being cautious to begin anything with me. Brooklyn-The next morning, I woke up in bed alone. Go figure. He probably left again much like he had the first night he was in bed with me. The first time it had messed with me a little bit, considering I had been so vulnerable with him. Now it just annoyed me.
