"Can you tell me why your brothers don't like you so much?"

She chuckles lightly. "I don't really know why they don't like me. As kids Mother always told me to take care of them. They were reckless as boys and they always got into trouble. But I didn't know why they always blamed me for the trouble they got into.” I nod.

"I see. But what they have for you is hate. Maybe there's another reason why they don't like you."

"Maybe. I was never able to ask them." She flashes me a sad smile. "Thanks for convincing them to let me stay."

"Don't mention it. This is to make up for the time that we couldn't meet up."

I look around and find Mrs Wells and her friend narrowing their eyes at me. I glare at them and turn to Kylie.

"Who's your mother's friend?"

"That's Kesha. One of Mother's models. She's one of Mother's best employees and has supported Mother since her business hasn't been going so well. Mother's company has been defamed."

Now I felt just sad for the woman. She had lung ca
