"That was very stupid of you."

"I know."

"You could've gotten killed."

"I know."

"I'm not going to help you with this." He shakes his head in disagreement.

"Please James." I plead.

"Maybe you don't remember what I said to you while we were dating and when I broke up with you," That hurt a bit. "But I'll say it anyway, you cannot put your life on the line for a story. Those people probably tested that drug on you. If they find out that you're remembering your past, they'll come for you and they'll kill you."

"No buts, Lily. Leave this for the police and stay safe. I'd mostly stay indoors if I were you. In fact, that's what you should do."

"See, the police are already on the case but there are loopholes. I can help them but they won't let me. I want to finish this on my own. I will finish what I started."
