CHAPTER 26: WORTHY TO CELEBRATE

"DENVER!" Fionna yelled, sprinting toward Denver.

She noticed him on the side of the road, his phone in his ear. Denver only gave him a sidelong glance and did not greet her.

"What exactly are you doing here?" Fionna inquired.

Denver put down his phone and opened his car door.

"I'm very busy, Fion."

"Wait, I can help you!" she exclaimed.

Denver, on the other hand, jumped into the driver's seat and began maneuvering his vehicle. Fionna smirked as she gazed at Denver's car.

"Oh, crap."

'WHAT if she is at her friend's house? You know, even if Tina is dead, I think she'll go wherever she remembers Tina because she doesn't have anyone else except Tina. I think Sandra will seek comfort at her friend's grave.'

When Denver learned of Cali's theory, he almost shiver.

'I'm curious if you'll do the same to me; will you come to my grave as if I'm a safe haven?'

Cali burst out laughing at what he said.

'Oh, how could you? When you are unable to do so with your wife.'
