Chapter 9: His chance, don't dream he let go

At the door of the company, his heart was still pounding like a drum, just like when he received the casting news.

Claude stood at the door, trying to calm down for a moment before opening the other glass door.

At that moment, the door was opened from the other end to a surprise of Simon had not seen for a long time.

Simon wore H & M's latest summer clothes this year: a white shirt with two patterned front flaps and tight-fitting black shorts.

The outfit is both fashionable and comfortable with a delicate and handsome look; it really makes people's hearts flutter like the rose boy in Oscar Wilde's work.

The corner of Simon's lips curled slightly, "H & M's casting? "Never mind, I got the message."

Claude was taken aback, and replied calmly, "Need to go or not, Jason will inform me."

Simon sneered, slowly walking down the stairs. When he passed him, he said, "You think you can always get lucky?" I haven't enjoyed it. How can it be your turn? " Then, the boy put on Gucci sunglasses and swaggered away.

Claude saw it climb into a Lotus, pressing hard on the accelerator, and sped off.

He hastily rushed in, and as soon as he opened the door to Jason's office, he raised his hand to wave at him.

"Jason, just now I..."

"Get out and talk!" Jason put his arm around his shoulder and went outside, and the two of them pulled into the emergency exit to talk privately as usual.

"Is it..." He looked nervously, but also a little expectantly, at him.

Jason pulled a cigarette to his mouth and said, "Jamie, there's still a chance..."

Just this one sentence made Claude's heart sink into the deep sea of ice.

He struggled for two years, trying to rise in the middle of a strange city, living today without knowing what tomorrow will bring, hoping to see the bright sunlight, but it was all an illusion. Nothingness.

Jason looked apologetic, "Jamie, this was not my intention." I took this job announcement for you. Who knows that my superiors suddenly called me today, asking to change to Simon... Really, I even tried to convince Simon that you're a much better fit for H & M than he is, but it seems Simon is determined to take the exam this time around. I guess it's because last time... Well, the fashion world is just entertainment. If you don't entertain other people, someone else will entertain you. The important thing is to learn how to have fun for yourself. "

He suddenly raised his head and asked, "Jason, you mean the client side still thinks I'm going to audition, right?"

Jason was surprised, "You... What are you going to do?"

"I will go!" His voice was low but steady, "This is my chance. No one can take it!"

Jason looked surprised at the peaceful and obedient boy for so long. Unfortunately, his hand was burned by the cigarette. He panicked and immediately answered the cigarette, quickly saying, "But... But... you know... there, Simon's condition..."

If you want to take my chance, you have to at least let me lose my mind and obey. His normally gentle lips were tightly pursed, so his whole body suddenly became stiffer.

Jason took a deep breath, put his arm around his shoulder again and said, "Claude, I know an opportunity like this isn't easy to come by. If you don't give it a try, you'll lose it, you'll be annoyed, and I'll be upset too." Now let's pretend you never came to see me, I never texted you... Try to give that snob a lesson! "

Claude shook hands with him, saying "thank you" softly.

Just as he was about to open the door, Jason suddenly shouted behind him, "Hey hey, go this way downstairs and then get in the elevator!"

He ran downstairs, and the guy yelled again, "Hey, remember to turn off your cell; don't listen to anyone who calls today."

Claude replied, opened the door of the emergency exit, and got into the elevator. It was still early. The elevator going down was empty.

He leaned against the cold elevator wall. His excitement turned to disappointment, and then this moment turned into bitter anticipation. It turns out that three complex mood swings take less than an hour in the morning.

Trying to calm down, Claude took his cell phone and turned it off when the cell phone rang again, showing Cyrus's number.

This mobile number is the one he gave him when he was in the movie crew together for easy communication.

He hesitated, but still answered the phone.

Cyrus's tone was as calm as if nothing had happened last night, just asking if he wanted to come and get the belt himself or if he would bring it.

He thought about it, then replied that he would get over it by himself.

Cyrus is like a high-end product, but he deliberately hid it. Only someone who is knowledgeable and skilled can recognise it.

And Claude didn't expect to be known by countless skilled people in the entertainment industry because of Cyrus.

The two of them were inherently two parallel lines. As Derek Thomas had taught him, if those two roads of heaven and earth intersect, if it's not an illusion, then it will be a scheme.

Cyrus met him at the Stone Café on the corner. The shop is not big and the location is also hidden, so the space seems quiet, but actually, the customers are relatively crowded.

The bar was already filled with chairs, and Cyrus, holding a cup of coffee, sat elegantly flipping through the newspaper.

He immediately walked over to his desk, saying hello, "Good morning, Nicon."

Cyrus looked at the black hoodie and white jeans he was wearing, then placed the large paper bag at his feet on the table.

Claude thanked him, took the paper bag, said hello to Cyrus, and was about to leave.

"Hey, I heard there's a casting session for H & M's commercials today... I can guide you a little bit."

Cyrus suddenly spoke from behind. Claude's footsteps stopped and turned to look at him.

"Sorry, by the way, okay?" He tilted his head, smiling.

Cyrus doesn't like to laugh. He worked with him for fifteen days, but the number of times he smiled was counted on one finger.

And now he smiled brightly. He didn't know if it was an illusion or not, but in his mind, he seemed to be no longer so cold, noble, and distant.

Last night's emotions were not as uncomfortable as a strangled heart. Perhaps he was originally like that. Very few people could be angry with him.

Claude hesitated for a moment, then added, "You'll have coffee, please."

"Okay." Ben nodded. He honestly sat down in front of him. One thing is for sure, every word from a master like Cyrus is worth more than the expensive breakfast he offers.

"What are you going to wear to the casting?"

Claude was bewildered. To be honest, you have very few chances to get into casting, because it's good enough for a clothing company to consider comp cards of high-level models like you, at most for one or two of you. He performed in a short web video.

Claude thought seriously before replying, "H & M's features are stable price and universal. I'm going to change into a white shirt and black pants..."

"Then go to the audition to be their assistant." Cyrus indifferently asked back.

His face turned red, "I think..."

"Do you know who the main designer of H & M this season is?"

"I heard it's... Rei Kawakubo."
