Chapter 4

Ivan's Pov

We drove and finally got home and took the girl in my arms to the one part of this mansion that we use as a medical wing. I quickly laid her down and one of the doctors the my youngest brother call to come and check on her did his work.

I don't know what is wrong with me but I have never felt this protective over a girl before. She just looks like a kid and I feel like I should protect her from everything bad that might happen to her but maybe it's due to the phone call when she placed her trust in me a stranger to her.

It seems Niko has taken a liking to her. So we left the room to give the doctor some privacy to make sure that nothing is wrong. I don't need her being even more traumatized by three men being in a room with her while she is being checked over by a doctor.

While we are waiting out of the room my brothers start disagreeing about if she should be here or not. Then my brother Niko says "I know she is not a danger to us because last year we were in the same University as I was doing my final year and the girl couldn't be more of a saint if Saint Peter was standing next to her. She has three so called friends on campus which are her roommates, so not exactly friends. When she is off Campus she is somewhere busy with something but I know she doesn't have a boyfriend because most of my friends tried to get her but they couldn't. She has trust issues from what I gathered or she doesn't want to be to dependent on people. She is kind to everyone but she is closed of in a way. She goes to parties with her roommates but she doesn't drink, do drugs, or even smoke. She is always the designated driver she takes care of them and for them to this to her just shows how loyal they are to her." and I can tell that he is very angry.

He sounds as if he really cares about her more in a brother way not as a lover. Which is very impressive because he mostly considers all girls easy and money hungry. But right now he is defending her she must be really something and he says he knows her from varsity. Last year Niko was doing his final year in Varsity. The way he is talking about her is clear enough indication that I did a great thing by saving her because someone like her needs to be protected, loved and cared for she is a extraordinary woman.

I just hope she has minimal injuries because from what I saw on the video she is a fighter and no matter how injured she is I have no doubt that she will get better. She can really hold her own the problem was that she was already injured but I have no doubt that if they came at her while she was at her peak she would have given them a run for their money.

We could really use a strong Mafia Queen as she is but how would a person preposition such a idea to her, she would never agree I would really need to offer her something she doesn't have and from the looks of it money isn't going to work, power hungry doesn't look like her thing, not like I can seduce her to marry me that doesn't have a strong foundation, I would really need to have something she needs.

As I try to figure this out the doctor comes out of room and she clears her throat because my brothers where still disagreeing about something while I was in my thoughts.

"So Sir she has a sprained ankle which I treated, a few bruised ribs which I wrapped and a concussion which I'm not sure how it would affect her she could have temporary amnesia or she could be fine it would depend on the severity, but she could also try to block out the memories and it could present itself as amnesia but after she accepts what happened she could remember. All I would need is to run a few tests when she wakes up because I won't say she is going to fine because I can't give you my word. I know you like to be a hundred percent certain before action is taken." She says looking at me in the eye because the last doctor and I got in a little spat because he said he was sure about what he said but obviously he wasn't so I handled him very quickly. So I give her a nod and she walks away.

I go into the room and see Jaymes she is still unconscious so I pick her because I don't want her waking up alone not knowing what is happening. So I take her to my room because today I will sleep on the couch. I need to make sure she is safe and I don't know why but I know I just need to.
