22: Shaking with fear

Hector’s POV

I left Alpha Jax’s office feeling very angry and infuriated. I hated how they questioned me as if I had not spent a great deal of my life protecting them from harm. How could they even suspect me of bringing someone who would spy on them? After all I’ve done?

The fact that they pressured me so much that I had to tell them the “ real reason “ why I helped Kayla was just unbelievable. Couldn’t they just believe me if I said that everything was fine and that Kayla wasn’t a threat?

I was pissed, so in my anger, I told them what they wanted to hear. Kayla is just like me. I’ve known this since she found me in the woods and told me about herself. I just couldn’t believe it at the time, or rather, I chose not to believe it.
