28: Mental Tension

Hector's POV

“Where the hell is she?” I said to myself, tracing Kayla’s scent. I initially tracked her scent to the bathroom but now, it seemed like she was somewhere else, somewhere very far from school. I shut my eyes and focused on her scent and when I realized where she was, I froze.

What the hell is she even doing there?

I ran as fast as I could to Glass lake, that was where she was but it’s a very isolated place for a reason. I made it so. If she’s gone there then I’m done for. Kayla will know my secret. I need to stop her.

Kayla’s POV

This was very confusing for me. I waited for Hector in the bathroom, hoping that he would join me. My wolf, Sapphire was losing her mind so fiercely that I wasn’t able to stop her when she took control and I ran in a direction I wasn’t familiar with.

When I opened my eyes some moments later I was in this thick, dark, fog-filled forest. What does this even mean? “ Sapphire, what is this place?” I asked, trying to feel my way out of the forest
