25: Calm down

Hector’s POV

I didn’t want to see Kayla after the way she accused me of forcing Sapphire to submission but after thinking about it carefully, I knew she wasn’t to blame. Initially, I believed that I had somehow managed to break normal wolf protocols, forcing Sapphire to submit to me but I saw someone out of the ordinary. It was Max.

Max is Alpha Jax's firstborn son. Unlike the rest of his siblings, Max is very cunning and deceptive. He must’ve been the one who did it to Sapphire and everyone thought it was me. I didn’t have any proof though, but I knew it couldn’t be me.

That morning, I got up from my bed feeling…too strong. Weren’t wolves supposed to grow weary as they get older? Instead, my case seems like the opposite. After having my bath, I got ready for school. Since I’m a gold-tier student, I’m meant to go to school only when Alpha Jax wouldn’t need me. Today was that day.
