ALEXA.

"Let me go!" I pounded on his back, but this man was made of steel. He wasn’t even bulging and proceeded to carry me to my small room. He kicked the door closed before hurling me to the center of the bed and locking the door.

My chest was heaving as I watched him stand in front of my bed. He was just looking at me with a dark expression.

"Do you like Edward?" he asked in a cold voice.

"Yes!" I answered right away, and his eyes softened before he let out a deep breath. He turned around and sat on the bed.

"He’s younger than you. And he’s waiting for his mate."

"What?" I asked, my brow hiking up before my mouth twitched into a smile. Did he think I fancied Edward?

"I said, he’s waiting for his mate." He said it in a slightly higher tone of voice.

"I know. He told me."

"Hmmm…"

"I like him as a person. He really seems nice. "

"Do you like him more than you like me?" His voice came out so hoarse and full of insecurities that all the irritation I felt for him just vanishe
