I became still in shock as dread ran down to my spine… murder? MURDERER?!

“What?” I asked, completely blank minded and in shock.

They remained silent as a stone.

“No.. I would never…?!” I asked, my eyes filled with confusion. My body was trembling in fear, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

“How did you kill her, when, and why. Three answers, and it will save us the bother of wasting our time on torturing you.” The burly guard muttered.

The guard with the glasses said in a soft voice, “we already found her body in the woods. Her neck was broken.”

My eyes widened in shock. What the hell?!

“I did not kill her! I don’t even know when and how it happened.” I explained quickly, desperately, “I worked in the kitchen and then I went home. I don’t know what you are talking about!”

He walked up to me, a cold smile playing on his lips, “You had a fight with her yesterday, didn’t you?”
