The bright sunlight shines on my face. I pull the cover over my face because I want to sleep more. I need more time to sleep enough. After a while, I can't sleep back so I decide to wake up. I open my eyes and this place is so unfamiliar. Then I remember that I booked a room to stay here tonight. My head is spinning and hurts like hell. Like someone hit me hard on my head with a hammer. I groan because of the pain in my head but I am a big girl so I can handle it. I might have drunk a lot last night and I have a hangover. I rub my head with my fingers to ease the pain away. I can't believe what just happened with Derek last night but I will be over this. I am strong and I will find a better man than him. A little later I feel a little better just enough to sit up slowly in the bed. I support my weight with my hand but suddenly touch something soft and warm.
I turn my head and see a shirtless man's back. The blanket covers his downer part while his upper body is on show. I quickly pull away my hand as it burns me. He has dark brown hair. It is cut short on the side and the top looks longer, but I am not sure of it. It is a very muscular and wide back. He has tanned skin and it is also very smooth even after just one touch. In between the two of his shoulder blades, there is a huge black wolf head. The wolf howls to the full moon which is over it. In the background are pine wood and a lake in front of it. It is so beautiful. I can tell from his steady breathing that he is still asleep luckily. I carefully put down my legs on the floor but suddenly a pain hit me. It comes from my underpart. I almost scream but hold back myself. Oh no. I must have slept with him last night. So it was not a dream. It was all real. His sexy voice and his body are all real. I have to leave as quickly as possible.
I gather some strength and slip out of the bed. My legs feel like jelly. I wait a couple of seconds before they finally start to follow my order to move. I finally found my dress on the floor at the end of the bed and next to it my shoes also. I quickly put it on my dress and look around in this hotel room again. When I look at the room number it says 20. Hmmm, it is strange. I remember that I have the keycard to 209. I found a number that fell down from the door. It can be a 9 or a 6. Did I enter the wrong room last night or was he in the wrong room? I walk carefully in the hallways and hide myself from the security cameras. I enter the elevator and push the ground-level button. Luckily I paid my bill last night, so I just put my key card on the counter with some tip and left the hotel.
When I step out of the hotel room suddenly cameras flash on my face. There are so many paparazzi here. What are they doing here? Did someone follow me last night on purpose and sent them here? I try to cover my face but it is not easy when so many people try to take a photo of me.
"Miss Chloe Warner, what are you doing here in this hotel?"
"Did you cheat on your fiance Derek Jones?"
"Are you still getting married next week?"
"Is that some hickey on your neck?"They ask question after question. Sometimes I hate to be the daughter of a famous businessman.
"No comment. But I canceled my wedding with Derek Jones next weekend. Have a nice day."I tell them and take off my shoes to quickly leave the scene. They still bomb me with questions but I don't pay attention to them. Luckily I am not parked too far and quickly hop in my Porsche car. They are still following me and taking some photos while I start the engine and leave the scene. I need to stay strong to not show that I am sad. I drive home at a normal speed while I think back to last night. Suddenly I remember that I need to go to the pharmacy. I buy a post-event pill because I am not sure if he uses protection or not. I get in my car and take the pill with some water. After I head home where outside our gate a lot of paparazzi wait again. Luck is not on my side today so I use our secret underground passage to the garage. I park my car and enter the house. My father and mother already wait in the living room with Derek and Sophia.
"Where have you been? We worried so much for you."My mom stands up from the couch and starts her speech. I can see on her face that she is really worried about me.
"Enough. What did you do? The stock of the Warner company crashed down. Your scandal is causing us so much trouble. We try to delete all the hot searches which are related to you."My dad speaks up and I can hear the anger in his voice and his face is redder than it used to be.
"Dad, do you how I feel after last night? My whole world turned upside down. The man who needs to be made to feel safe and at home just cheated on me and knocked up my cousin."I shout back at him and hold back my tears. The others watch me with shock on their faces. Only my cousin Sophia smirks at me. She must enjoy this show.
"You don't need to behave so stupidly because of a man. You already announced that you canceled the wedding. My phone keeps ringing non-stop and asking me about the news about my daughter. Do you know how I feel about it? They keep telling me that my daughter is a w*hore who sleeps with everybody. Is it true that you slept with someone in a hotel room? You need to fix this."My father's face is red like a tomato while he shouts back to me.
"It is none of your business. I am an adult and I can do whatever I want. I don't say anything about last night. I was supposed to have a happy day but my cousin and my fiance's betrayal ruined it. I don't care about the family and I don't care about business. They can think about me what they want but only I know the truth and…"I cut off with a loud slap on my face. It burns like hell but it hurts more because I was slapped by my father. How can he be cruel to his only daughter? The tears which I hold back now flow down my face. I hear gasps from everybody and I can see Derek's worried face. He tries to walk toward me but Sophia holds him back. I got cheated and now my family betrayed me because of money. I turn and leave in the direction of my room.
"You're not my daughter anymore Chloe Warner. Leave this family and house."That was the last sentence my father said before I reached the staircase. I hear my mom sob and plead to my father to forgive me. I shut my door and them outside my world.
