Third Person's POV Azrael walked into Blake's hospital room and immediately saw a doctor and nurse working on him. He stood back not sure what to do until the doctor turned and saw him standing there. "Don't just stand there, come around here and stand next to him." The doctor said, pointing to the other side of the bed furthest away from the door. Azrael glanced back at Thaddeus to make sure it was okay and he gave him a nod. Third Person's POV Azrael hummed and nuzzled his face into the warmth and tingles. He enjoyed the soothing sensation as someone lightly raked their fingers through his hair. Blake smiled and his heart swelled when he heard the beautiful sound his mate made as he felt him nuzzle into his neck. He thought for certain he was going to die when his mate's hands snaked around his sides and wrapped around him. Third Person's POV Silas wasn't sure when he actually fell asleep, but he woke up and rubbed his eyes. It took him a moment to remember the condition he saw his friend in last night. Third Person's POV Ian couldn't imagine how much worse that would have felt if Silas would have finished saying the rejection. Just hearing him get to the part where he said "I reject you," not only shocked him, it also broke his heart when he realized he was going to follow through with it. But it was more than just those two things, once he said I reject you, the pain kicked in. Not only was his heart breaking as he watched and heard the words come from his mate's mouth, that would forever separate them, he now felt the excruciating pain as if his heart was being ripped apart.
