"Come on, come on. Come on! Almost there, just a little more. Mmmm, Done!" Malaki said as he hit the save button and closed the laptop.

Malaki leaned back, stretching his arms above his head, stretching his body out. He stood up, and looked around the office. The office he shares with his mate. He looks at the empty chair next to him and smiles when he sees the paper that has Gabriel's doodles all over it during his earlier phone conversation.

Malaki lets his eyes roam the room, and they land on the wall that has pictures of Michael and his family on the day they became Alpha of River Pack. Malaki walks closer and looks at a young Michael.
