Lilah

Snare had a way with words. Everything she did and everything she said, somehow got things out of me. It didn’t take her long to connect the dots. She figured it out quicker than I did. She figured it out just like Halle had.

“I promise you, I will make her suffer.” Those were her words. She had ignored my feelings about Alpha Colt. It was like she knew not to push me too much on the subject. Instead, she looked positively excited about making Juniper suffer.

Snare left the door open when she went to see Alpha Colt. She already warned me that she would have to tell him. That she couldn’t keep it a secret from him. I could hear every word she spoke. I could sense the frustration she had when she told him that I couldn’t trust him. That I blamed him for what happened to me.

Quietly closing the door. I slide down to the floor, not wanting to hear another word. I started to question what my life would have been like if he had never caught up with me. Mum would still be alive.

Why Halle did nothing wrong she was lovely. She would have made a great friend and that was taken away from both of them. I have a feeling that this isn’t going to be the first, but I hope that it is over soon and they get the culprits

I like the way this story is headed. You've done an amazing job letting us see the world that she was sheltered from and her response to processing the lies that have comforted her throughout her life. I don't see her as weak but rather uneducated. I look forward to seeing her embody her own strengt
