It was my mother. I recognised her hair and those eyes. She ran deeper and deeper into the forest. My feet pound the ground hard as I try to keep up. I move quickly and silently as I try to keep up. Jumping fallen branches. Dodging trees. It was like my wolf knew exactly what to do.

Alpha Colt and Callie were not far behind. The scents told me that the other Lycans had joined in too, but I did not care for them. I just wanted to speak to my mother. I wanted to know how she was alive. I wanted her to tell me how she escaped. I just wanted to wrap my arms around her once more.

She changes directions several times. Always staying a few metres in front. She would look over her shoulder now and again, calling for me to catch her.
